Vintage Hand-Carved Wooden Sailfish / Marlin Sculpture 46cm

Likely dating from the 1970s–1980s, this impressive vintage hand-carved wooden sailfish sculpture features the classic billfish form often associated with marlin carvings, with a beautifully streamlined body, long pointed bill and dramatic raised dorsal fin. A fabulous piece of vintage marine décor and an especially good choice for a sideboard, console or shelving where its distinctive silhouette can be appreciated. Dimensions: 46cm long × 16cm tall × 7.5cm wide Condition: Good vintage condition overall and presents very well. There is a small chip to the tip of the upper jaw and an older repair to the upper section of the tail. General light wear consistent with age.
