Versatile Paris Rital Date

Yes, it smells like pesto. That's the point. Rital Date is a whole Italian dinner in one bottle, from first course to dessert. It opens green and aromatic with fresh basil pesto, fennel, a bit of oregano and cypress, and even a thread of olive oil. Then the lemon comes through, bright and a little boozy, like a cold limoncello at the end of the meal. Finally everything melts into creamy pistachio ice cream. It's savoury, sweet, fresh and soft all at once. It shouldn't work, and it absolutely does. Versatile calls it a neo citron, their new take on the classic lemon scent. If most citrus perfumes feel a bit too polite to you, this one has far more personality. It was created by Amélie Bourgeois, Camille Chemardin and Elia Chiche at the independent studio Flair for Versatile.
