"Mossy Maiden" Large Framed Photograph by Dale Goffigon

Dimensions: 30"W x 2"D x 40"H Photographed at the Chateau de St. Urcisse, a privately owned 18th century chateau, located in the Tarn department of southern France. Built on a 14th c. fortified house site with architectural influences from Paris, it is surrounded by a 19th c. park formerly divided into French and English gardens. It now exists in a state of benign neglect. About the Artist Born on Virginia’s Eastern Shore and now based in Connecticut, Dale Goffigon studied photography at the International Center of Photography in New York and the Maine Photographic Workshop. Her work is rooted in a lifelong fascination with gardens, historic architecture, interiors, and the relationship between landscape and the built environment. Known for her distinctive and quietly evocative approach to these subjects, Goffigon’s photographs have appeared in Architectural Digest, Connecticut Cottages & Gardens, and Town & Country, among other publications. Her work is held in private collections throughout the United States and Europe.
