Just as a compass helps us find our direction, Jesus shows us the way to the Father. This hands-on Bible lesson gives children a visual reminder that we can look to Jesus for guidance and direction in our lives. As children spin their compass rose, talk about what it means to follow Jesus and trust Him to lead us. Take-Home Message: Jesus is the way! I can follow Him and trust His direction for my life. Sunday School & Homeschool Ready: This printable Jesus Is the Way craft set works well for Sunday School, children's church, Christian classrooms, homeschool Bible lessons, Vacation Bible School (VBS), and kids ministry activities. Use all three activities together for a complete John 14:6 Bible lesson, or choose individual activities depending on your time and age group. The printable Bible bracelets make a simple take-home reminder that children can wear throughout the day. Simple to Assemble Start with a 6-inch or 9-inch paper plate. Paint or color the plate any color you like, or use a colored paper plate to save time! You can even substitute a piece of yellow or brown construction paper if paper plates aren't available. Cut out the printable "Jesus Is the Way" compass circle and glue it to the center of the plate. Poke a hole through the center dot, then attach the compass rose with a brass fastener so it can rotate. Add the printable hanging loop to the back to display the finished craft. Choose the ready-to-use color templates or let children color the black-and-white pieces before assembling. Finish the lesson with the printable John 14:6 activity mat and a paper bracelet that children can cut out, wrap around their wrist, and staple to fit. This Jesus Is the Way Paper Plate Compass Craft is a simple way to bring Scripture, creativity, and hands-on learning together while teaching children the truth of John 14:6.
