Medium grit is the lower-reduction option; coarse grit removes more per pass. The colour band on the bur shows the grit before it goes into the handpiece. Tips for Best Results Let the diamond do the work with light pressure and water spray. Keep the bur moving so the cut stays even. Discard after one patient. Do not reprocess a single use bur.
