mYak Retreat in Italy | Monferrato Region | September 29 – October 3, 2027 Following numerous requests from our community, one of Northern Europe’s most beloved designers, Sari Nordlund, is returning for our autumn retreat for the second time. Our retreat will take place in the Monferrato area, where you will experience the delightful fusion of Ligurian influences paired with the rich flavors of Piedmont. The location is so special that it lends its name to the renowned wine, Gavi di Gavi. Weather permitting, we will take part in the traditional Vendemmia (grape harvest), one of the most cherished activities that brings Italian families together. Along with this, we will visit a local cellar and enjoy a wine tasting experience. Due to the strong Ligurian culinary influence in the area, we will also learn how to make traditional Pasta Frolla to bake an authentic Italian crostata. Sari will teach two amazing workshops that we can’t wait to reveal. Included in this Retreat: Transfers: on arrival (Sept 29, 2025) and departure (October 3, 2027) by private coach from Milano Malpensa Airport. You should arrive at Milano Malpensa Airport on Sept 29.. Pick up from airport will be at 1:30 pm (it’s a 2 hours’ drive to Gavi). At the end of the retreat, there will a bus leaving the retreat location at 7:30am to take you to Malpensa airport. Arrival at Malpensa will be around 9:30 am. Please note that if you arrive later than 1:30pm or have an early departure, you will be responsible for your own transportation. Please let us know if you decide to rent your own car at Malpensa or arrive by train instead of traveling by bus with the rest of the group. After May 13, 2025, no refund will be issued. Balance is due by June 1st, 2027 Insurance is not included in the fees and we strongly advise to ask international coverage with your insurance carrier.
