A load rating shows how much weight a rail can carry before it begins to bend, and once a rail bows under pressure it rarely returns fully to shape. Because we checked the rating ourselves, you can use the full hanging rail and both shelves together without having to estimate where the safe limit lies. This rail is exclusive to Displaysense, and no other supplier anywhere in the UK sells it. This clothes rail has been designed around hanging stock. With only two shelves, the space between the top and the base remains completely clear for clothes on hangers. That makes it especially useful for shops selling longer items like dresses, shirts, coats and jackets, where uninterrupted hanging space matters most. Longer clothing such as maxi dresses and overcoats can hang freely without touching the shelf below too. If you also need plenty of room for folded stock, our RA1030BK uses the same frame with five shelves and may be a better fit. The top shelf sits above the rail and provides a useful place for items you do not need to reach constantly, such as spare hangers, shoe boxes, hats or handbags. Anything stored there remains visible without getting in the way of the clothes below. The bottom shelf sits just above the wheels and keeps shoes, bags and boxed stock off the floor, making the area around the rail easier to clean. Both shelves have a wood effect finish, which adds warmth against the black frame and works well with brick walls and wooden floors. Each shelf can also hold boxed stock within its stated load capacity. Four wheels are fitted beneath the frame, and two of them have brakes. Pressing the brake lever down with your foot stops the wheel from turning once the rail is in position. Leave the brakes released and the complete rail can be moved around the shop with stock still hanging on it. Apply them again and the rail stays steady while customers browse and remove garments.
