What is Calendula (Pot Marigold)? Calendula (Calendula officinalis), also known as pot marigold, is a vibrant orange flowering herb with a long history of use in traditional botanical skincare. Inspired by the herbal traditions of ancient Rome, TranQuillina uses its own Sussex-grown calendula flowers to create an oil for moisturising and conditioning the skin. How to Use Calendula Oil After showering: Massage into slightly damp skin to help retain moisture. As a body oil: Apply a small amount and massage gently into the skin. In the bath: Add a little oil to bathwater and swirl to disperse. For hair and beards: Apply sparingly to help condition and soften.
