The Dutch Bouquet

A charmingly traditional floral still life, featuring an abundant arrangement of white, coral and burnt-orange blooms gathered in a delicate pedestal vase. Set against a deep green background, the flowers are rendered with fine detail and a wonderful sense of depth, recalling the intimate botanical compositions of Dutch still-life painting. Particularly lovely is the decorative and large wooden frame, with its warm reddish finish, black ornamental flourishes and deeply recessed inner border. Together, painting and frame create a wonderfully atmospheric little piece, rich in character and old-world charm. Keep out of direct sunlight and gently dust with a soft cloth.
