This striking Venus Flytrap is a memorable collector’s cultivar with plenty of character, producing dramatic snap traps that make it a standout on a sunny windowsill or in an outdoor bog display. For best growth, provide plenty of direct sun, keep the pot standing in a shallow tray of rainwater, distilled water or reverse-osmosis water, and use only a low-nutrient carnivorous plant mix. Never use fertiliser or regular potting soil. Like all temperate Venus Flytraps, ‘Troublemaker’ benefits from a cool winter dormancy.
