A Gluggable Skin Contact-y White

Skin contact wine. Orange wine. Amber wine. Call it whatever u want, but it’s back for a 4th vintage, and this one might be my favorite yet. For 2025, A GLUGGABLE SKIN CONTACT-Y WHITE is 40% Muscat, 40% Pinot Gris and 20% Chardonnay, left to hang out on skins til the juice turns that gorgeous sunset amber, and what comes out the other side smells and tastes like fresh picked flowers, ripe stone fruit and Dancong Oolong tea. The wine finishes with a grippy lil tannic tug that lets u know where it stands, yet it’s sooooo easy to drink. All in all, it’s clean, bright and structured - an orange wine doesn't make u work to love it. Serving suggestion: Pour it cold-ish, like 45 to 50°… not arctic. This wine loves to be paired with everything from my Curried Confetti Egg Salad Scoop to Jammy Pepps and Hazelnut Toast Cépage (aka what's in it!): 40% Muscat, 40% Pinot Gris, 20% Chardonnay Winemaking practice: Semi-carbonic maceration on all fruit for two weeks. 75% stainless steel and 25% neutral French oak barrels for élevage. ALC: 12.5%
