Bol à pieds terracotta

Look underneath and you’ll find what makes this bowl unique: a single small foot, hand-shaped and pressed onto the base, giving the bowl a slight, deliberate tilt and a distinctly sculptural stance. It’s a small detail, but it changes the whole character of the piece — part tableware, part little creature. The tilted bowl sits at an angle, its interior glazed in warm caramel and honey tones with soft washes of pale green pooling unpredictably across the surface. Perfectly sized for olives, nuts, or a small side dish, it also holds its own as a decorative object when empty. As a hand-thrown piece, no two are shaped, glazed, or angled the same way — each one is entirely its own.
