Mid-Century Porcelain Vase | Kaiser, Germany

A distinctive vintage porcelain vase by AK Kaiser, produced in West Germany during the late 1960s to 1970s. With its sculptural form and bold geometric relief, the design captures the playful experimentation of the Op Art and Space Age movements. Finished in glossy white porcelain, the vase is decorated with a continuous pattern of raised, stylised teardrop shapes. The repeating forms create depth and movement across the surface, with light catching the curves and shadows defining the intricate relief. Manufactured by Alboth & Kaiser (AK Kaiser Porzellan) in Bavaria, Germany, a renowned porcelain maker celebrated for its craftsmanship and innovative decorative designs. A wonderful example of period German design, with enough character to stand alone as a sculptural decorative piece, yet equally appealing with a simple floral arrangement. Business card used to indicate size. Condition: In good vintage condition. The original AK Kaiser maker's mark remains visible underneath, while the original manufacturer's label is still partially visible on one side of the vase.
