The Alpine Racer Starter Kit

Your whole race-day workshop, in one box. Everything a racer needs to keep skis fast and edges sharp — from the vise to the final brush. Mount up, tune your base edge and side edge, file and polish your edges to race-ready sharpness, then wax, scrape, and brush to a finish. It's the full tune-up routine, start to finish, with the tools that hold up season after season. Whether you're chasing your first podium or just want skis that run with the pack, this is the kit that gets you there. What's inside: Waxing T73 Sport waxing iron (SWT73D110-01) — A reliable iron for melting and spreading wax evenly across the base. Set it to the wax's recommended temperature and glide it on. Plexi scraper, 5mm (SWT0825D-01) — Sharp and rigid for cutting through excess wax and levelling the base after cooling. Rectangular Medium Bronze brush (SWT0162B-01)  — Opens up the base structure and removes leftover wax particles for maximum glide. Rectangular Fine Blue Nylon brush (SWT0160B-01)  — The finishing brush. Polishes the base and pulls out the last fine wax particles for a race-ready finish. Edges Adjustable base edge file guide (SWTA0520-01)  — Sets your base edge angle with precision so both skis match. The foundation of a consistent tune. Phantom R side edge file guide (SWTA3008-01)  — Holds your file at the exact side edge angle for repeatable, race-sharp edges. 2nd Cut Racing Pro file (SWT106RSC-01)  — Your first pass. Removes material quickly to set the edge. Fine Cut Racing Pro file (SWT104RSC-01)  — Your finishing pass. Smooths and refines the edge after the 2nd cut. Medium Economy diamond stone (SWTA400E-01)  — Polishes the edge after filing and removes burrs for a clean, sharp finish. Soft Rubber stone (SWT0992-01)  — Knocks down burrs and rust, and detunes tips and tails for a smooth, predictable ride. Workholding WC 3-piece ski vise (SWT0149-50-01)  — Holds your skis stable at a comfortable working height so you can tune with both hands. The backbone of any home workshop. Ski brake retainers, 10 pcs (SWT0165N-01) — Keeps brakes retracted and out of the way while you work on your bases and edges.
