Paphiopedilum rothschildianum (‘Paph Paradise’ x ‘Tempranillo’)

Paphiopedilum rothschildianum (‘Paph Paradise’ AM/AOS, SM/CSA x ‘Tempranillo’ AM/AOS) Simply two of the finest roths you will ever see. ‘Tempranillo’ had 7 flowers on one spike on its first bloom. Our first release of this cross…they are still many years from blooming but we have culled out the runts and these are the good growers. These were potted up in the spring and have established nicely. These are sturdy seedlings in 3.5″ pots with a leaf span of about 8″ or so. We are just releasing a handful right now to thin the trays down a bit and give the rest of the plants more ‘elbow room’.
