Nibs were magnetised there to make them easier to handle, and Bullring market hawkers drew in passers-by by showing the magnetised nibs floating in water and pointing north. Poppy Red pairs a rich matt red lacquer with elegant matt black trim. Inspired by the vibrant poppy flower, its red and black palette symbolises hope, remembrance and new beginnings.
