BIG YANK | Y1934 HEATHER CHAMBRAY SHIRT Based on a vintage BIG YANK work shirt from the 1930s, the Y1934 Heather Chambray Shirt faithfully recreates the rare materials and construction of the original. Inspired by an exceptionally uncommon vintage piece, it is carefully crafted with the attention to detail that defines BIG YANK. The shirt is made from 100% cotton sulfur-dyed heather chambray, woven with top-dyed yarn in the weft. The reverse side is brushed to create a soft feel and richly textured appearance rarely found in conventional chambray fabrics. With repeated wear and washing, the sulfur-dyed fabric develops natural fading and a distinctive character over time. Authentic details include two-needle stitching, an oversized cigarette pocket, contrasting fabric along the right front edge and gussets, and a distinctive construction that exposes the brushed surface inside the collar stand and cuffs.
