This is a Paint Juicy night. Big energy, bigger music, and a room laughing at its own canvases by the second hour, and a Robina room that is about to get a great deal louder than your average Friday. Lotti Rem is on live vocals the whole way through, so the singalong has a real voice out front rather than a playlist and a hopeful nudge. Your host guides every brushstroke on the mic, so nobody gets stranded at step four. Natural breaks between layers give everyone time to grab a drink, take photos and get their breath back before the next big chorus lands. The playlist runs the pub rock and big pop of the 80s early, then slides into the 90s once the room has loosened up and the paint is flowing. Friend groups, mums and daughters, neighbours who have been meaning to organise something for months, they all end up singing the same chorus by the end. A 6pm Friday start is exactly the right way to open a weekend. Brushes down around 9pm with the night still young enough to keep going. Easy for Varsity Lakes, Mudgeeraba, Reedy Creek, Burleigh Waters, Mermaid Waters, Broadbeach and Nerang, and straight off the M1 for everyone else. Tonight's Artwork Lavender Fields Rows of lavender roll away toward a low horizon in violet, deep purple and lilac, flecked with pink and cream where the light catches the tops. Above them the sky runs apricot into hot pink, with the sun sitting low behind a line of dark trees on the left. The whole field is built from short dabs of the brush rather than careful outlines, so it comes together far faster than it looks and rewards a heavy hand with colour. It is the calmest thing you will ever paint on the loudest Friday you have had all year. Lotti Rem, live on the mic for the full session, working the 80s and 90s catalogue while you paint. Live singing, not a speaker in the corner. What are we painting? Lavender Fields, rows of purple lavender running out to a low horizon under an apricot and pink sunset sky. If you want to tweak the colours to suit your lounge room, say so on the night and we will help you shift them, no extra charge. Is singing along optional? Technically yes. Realistically you will not resist. Expect call and response moments and choruses you forgot you knew every word to. What time does it finish? Painting starts at 6pm and runs three hours, so brushes are down around 9pm. Do I need painting experience? None at all. We guide every step from blank canvas to finished painting, and a field of lavender is built from short dabs rather than fiddly detail, so it is far kinder than it looks. Is this good for a hens or birthday group? Absolutely. Hens parties and birthdays are the two most common private bookings we run. Add a note at checkout if you are celebrating and we will give the guest of honour a shout out on the night. Can I come alone? Yes, and plenty of people do. We seat you with other friendly humans so you are part of it from the first song. Can groups who book separately sit together? Yes. Can we book the whole room instead? Yes. Private sessions are $700 AUD flat for the first 10 guests and $65 per additional guest, with a minimum of 10 paid guests.
