Septimus Antique Elm Console Table

A handsome antique elm console table with four drawers, two over two, each with a small iron ring pull. The elm has been tastefully restored, keeping the deep chocolate brown while some areas have worn back to a paler, softer tone over some 150 years of use. We love the contrast between the two. The round legs are joined by stretchers, making it very sturdy. At 46cm deep it sits comfortably in a hallway, and works just as well behind a sofa or under a window, with the drawers taking the household clutter.
