Yellow Mariage / Yellow Mariāju (イエローマリアージュ) Yellow Mariage — read as Yellow Mariāju in Japanese — is a yellow-toned line out of the Mariage family, carrying the line's body shine on a normal-finned body. The yellow comes up over the head and back and warms the blue-white shine underneath, so the fish reads gold in direct sun and closer to cream in shade. The Mariage line was released by Masaharu Tarumi (垂水政治) of Ehime in June 2021, from Rinkō Long Fin (鱗光ロングフィン) × Morpho (モルフォ). Yellow entered the line through crosses with Emerald Fin (エメラルドフィン), and Japanese keepers write the resulting color as 黄青体外光 — yellow laid over blue body shine. Yellow Mariāju holds that coloring on standard finnage rather than the long-fin form.
