Lawrence Of Arabia – Post Academy Awards Style

British Quad (30″ x 40″) ; Post Academy Award Style Very Fine on Linen Columbia, 1963 Columbia Pictures distributed British quads of this style after the film won its Academy Awards, though it is still an original release poster. This poster has been conserved on linen and has had very little work on a few corner borders to address pinholes. The poster was in great shape prior to backing. The movie that Steven Spielberg says inspired him more than any other, David Lean’s Lawrence of Arabia is the most epic film. Dramatizing the World War I adventures of T.E. Lawrence (played by Peter O’Toole), it won seven Oscars, including Best Picture and Best Director.
