Shop Owner’s Note This bowl features a dramatic "Kake-wake" (split-glaze) design, boldly dividing the surface between a soft white slip and a deep black glaze. Against this striking background, delicate wisteria flowers are painted with incredible finesse. The contrast perfectly highlights the ethereal, pale colors of the wisteria, showcasing Ryoji Nakamura’s signature sense of composition and balance. It is a powerful yet elegant piece that brings a sophisticated presence to any tea setting, celebrating the fleeting beauty of spring.
