Gen 3 Raptor Rear Suspension Kit - Billet Aluminum Rear Links - 2021-2026 F150 Raptor - Uniball Version
Billet aluminum rear trailing arms for the 2021–2026 Ford F-150 Raptor and Raptor R, on 1" FK uniballs. Upper and lower arms as a matched set, machined in-house in Mesa, Arizona, and bolted straight into the factory mount locations. They replace the stamped-and-welded factory arms and their rubber bushings with one-piece billet and a defined pivot, and they do it without cutting, welding, new shocks or an alignment. Stock-length geometry, factory rear shock retained, 15 inches of rear wheel travel. What Is In The Kit 2 FMI billet aluminum upper rear trailing arms, with spacers and hardware 2 FMI billet aluminum lower rear trailing arms, with spacers and hardware 1" FK uniballs throughout Custom-machined 17-4 stainless steel spacers, sized for the stock mount locations Urethane wobble stoppers on the front mounts to hold the arms in alignment Aluminum ball post on the upper arms for the factory wheel position sensor, so the truck still reads ride height correctly — the lower arms never carry one This kit does not include the panhard bar. That is the fifth link in the rear suspension and it is sold separately — see Gen 3 Raptor Rear Links & Panhard Bar. Why Billet Instead Of The Factory Arm The factory Gen 3 rear arm is stamped sheet metal, folded into shape and welded at the seams, carrying its load through a rubber bushing at each end. Rubber is chosen for isolation, not for location — it is soft on purpose. That is fine on pavement. Put real load into the rear end and the bushings compress, the axle moves relative to where the chassis thinks it is, and the truck starts to feel like it is steering from the back. Under hard acceleration the same compliance shows up as wheel hop. A machined billet arm is one piece with no seams and material placed where the load actually is, and the uniball gives the arm a defined pivot instead of a squishy one. The axle goes where the geometry says it should. Uniball Version Or Ultra-Flex Version? We build the Gen 3 billet rear arms two ways. Both are billet aluminum, both bolt into the factory mounts, and both give the same 15 inches of rear wheel travel. The joint is the difference. This kit — FK uniballs A 1" FK uniball at the pivot. Tighter and more direct than an elastomeric joint, and the uniball itself is a replaceable wear item rather than something that scraps the arm. FK is the industry benchmark and these arms have been on Raptors for years. Choose this if you specifically want a uniball joint and are comfortable pressing a bearing when it eventually wears. The alternative — Ultra-Flex joints Our patent-pending joint greases through an external zerk with the arm still on the truck, stays quiet as it wears, and rebuilds with a urethane body instead of a complete uniball assembly. Choose that version if you want the lowest long-term maintenance or you live somewhere wet, humid or salted. See Ultra-Flex rear upper links and Ultra-Flex rear lower links. Fitment Fits the Gen 3 and Gen 3.5 Ford F-150 Raptor, model years 2021, 2022, 2023, 2024, 2025 and 2026, including the Raptor R. The Raptor R uses the same rear suspension architecture as the V6 truck, so these arms fit it unchanged. Stock-length only — this is not a long travel kit and it does not change rear geometry. Running a 2017–2020 Gen 2 Raptor? The Gen 2 has a leaf-sprung rear and needs a Gen 2 to Gen 3 rear conversion before these arms apply. Installation Bolt-on. The arms use the factory mount locations and the spacers are machined to suit, so there is no cutting, no welding, no fabrication and no alignment required afterwards. Hand tools and a jack, with the truck safely supported. We recommend the work is done by an experienced individual or shop, and that any suspension job is followed by a check that the rear axle still sits centered — particularly if the truck has been lifted, which is a panhard bar question rather than an arm question. Install guides are at Install Instructions, and we do in-house installation in Mesa if you would rather hand it over. Finishes Three options: raw billet aluminum, black anodized and FOX orange anodized. The upper and lower arms are chosen separately. Raw is a finish choice, not a lesser part — plenty of builds run raw billet deliberately for the machined-aluminum look. Anodizing is there if you want color, or want the parts to match something else under the truck. Anodized parts should be cared for as anodized aluminum; see the care notes before you take a pressure washer or a harsh wheel cleaner to them. Questions How much rear wheel travel do these give? 15 inches, with the factory rear shock still in place. More than that means changing the rear geometry — the long travel cantilever kit gets 19 inches and the through-the-bed bed cage kit 17, both on Gen 3 Raptor Rear Suspension. Do these fit a 2025 or 2026 Raptor? Yes. They fit 2021 through 2026 Gen 3 and Gen 3.5 trucks, Raptor R included. Do I need the panhard bar too? Not for these arms to work, but it is the part we would buy first. The panhard bar is the only thing holding the rear axle centered side to side, and removing its rubber bushing is the change most owners notice immediately — on the road, not just in the dirt. Will billet arms on uniballs make the ride harsh? You will hear and feel more of what the rear axle is doing, because a uniball transmits what a rubber bushing absorbed. That is the point of the part. If you want precise axle location with more isolation, the Ultra-Flex version is the one to look at. Is the uniball serviceable? Yes. The uniball is a wear item by design and presses out for replacement, so the arm stays on the truck for life. Replacement uniballs are listed under Serviceable Parts. Will the factory wheel position sensor still work? Yes. The upper arms carry an aluminum ball post for the factory wheel position sensor, so the truck reads ride height the way Ford intended. The lower arms never carry one — the sensor only ever mounts to an upper link. Where are these made? Designed, machined and finished in-house at our facility in Mesa, Arizona, USA. Finish The Rear End The arms are one of three things worth doing to a Gen 3 rear at stock ride height: Billet panhard bar — the fifth link, and the one we would buy first Rear bump stop kit and rear limit strap kit Rear link frame mount gusset kit — the factory link mounts are the known crack point on a truck that gets landed The full catalog is on Gen 3 Raptor Rear Suspension.
