Artful Pottery Jar by Jemez Potter Vangie Tafoya

This is a wonderful piece of art. Her freehand drawings of the water serpent Avanyu and feathers on this piece are delicate and flow lightly across the bowl. The art catches your eye and is a pleasure to look at. This is the kind of piece which transcends the pueblo pottery market. This bowl will be a pleasure to own and should be placed so you can enjoy the flow of the painting on this piece. H. 2 ¾"; D. 4" c.2000 #9084
