2020 Château Lafon Rochet

The 2020 Château Lafon-Rochet is a distinguished Fourth Growth (4ème Grand Cru Classé) from Saint-Estèphe, Bordeaux, made from 61% Cabernet Sauvignon, 33% Merlot, 3% Cabernet Franc and 3% Petit Verdot. The nose shows blackcurrant, blackberry and dark cherry with graphite, earthy notes, lavender, liquorice and subtle spice. On the palate, it is medium to full-bodied with concentrated dark fruit, fresh acidity and fine, polished tannins. The wine is matured for at least 12 months in barrel, adding depth and savoury complexity while maintaining freshness and balance through a long, refined finish.
