German WWII Kriegsmarine Life Vest- A German WWII Kriegsmarine life vest (Rettungsschwimmweste) in excellent condition. There are faint stamps throughout, with a maker of bvn 40 on the shoulder. This indicates the vest was manufactured in 1940 by Flügel & Polter K-G. located in Leipzig. This is an unupgradable example, about as nice as we’ve ever seen. This is made of tan rubberized material, and all of the components, including the rubber hoses, the porcelain fittings, the adjustment strap, and associated belts, are all present. In fact, this is the cleanest one I have had in years. This includes a wooden name tag, with handwriting that looks like it was done in calligraphy. Its just beautiful! This is an excellent example in every way!
