Freemark Abbey Winemaker Lunch | Friday 24 July | 12.30 for 1pm| Spectator Boardroom
Founded in 1886 by the pioneering Josephine Tychson, Freemark Abbey came to world attention 90 years later at the Judgement of Paris as the only winery to have both a red and a white wine in that fabled tasting. This great Napa Valley estate, now part of Jackson Family Estates, has continued to turn heads in the years since. We’re delighted to welcome head winemaker Kristy Melton – lionised recently in both the Drinks Business and Wine Enthusiast Magazine – as she presents such gems from range as the recently released 2023 Freemark Abbey Napa Valley Chardonnay, 2021 Freemark Abbey Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon, 2021 Freemark Abbey Sycamore Vineyard Cabernet Sauvignon and 2021 Freemark Abbey Bosché Vineyard Cabernet Sauvignon, plus some treats from back vintages and sneak previews of new vintages.
