Lao Cha Tou 2018
Lao Cha Tou or "Old Tea Heads" is naturally pressed during the Shu Puerh production process. It is a crust on the surface of Puer tea pile as a result of fermentation. Then this crust is broken, creating lumps (heads). This Lao Cha Tou comes from high grade (mostly Da Shu big trees) raw material.It can be brewed easily in a regular gaiwan, but perform best when brewed in a thick-walled ceramic teapot or when boiling. Aroma: woody-chocolate, coffee notes. Taste: smooth, sweet, coffee-chocolate. Effect: tone, fills with energy. Production: harvesting and fermentation in 2018, Bulang Mountains, Menghai County, Yunnan Province, China.
