Celebrate the warmth and beauty of the season with a Mother’s Day Candle Workshop inside the private barrel room at Shale Ridge Winery | Cidery | Nordic Spa. Join us for a slow and thoughtful afternoon among the orchard rows, where the rhythm of spring invites us to gather, create, and unwind. Whether you’re celebrating with your mom, a mother-to-be, gifting the experience, or simply taking time for yourself, this is a moment to pause and enjoy. Each guest will receive a complimentary alcoholic or non-alcoholic beverage at the beginning of the class, and additional food and drinks will be available for purchase throughout the experience, making it easy to settle in, sip, and enjoy the afternoon. You’ll be guided through the simple craft of candle making, pouring your own candle using soft, floral, and fresh essential oils inspired by the season. Each guest will create a candle from our V I N T A G E Collection, a curated selection of old chalices, milk and sugar vessels, goblets, and other timeless pieces. To make your candle even more personal, we’ll be adding extra dried flower petals, herbs, and a limited supply of stones and crystals for garnishing, allowing you to create a truly one-of-a-kind piece. A meaningful keepsake to bring home or gift to someone special this Mother’s Day. Soft light, good company, and the calm beauty of the cidery make this workshop an easy and elegant way to celebrate the women who matter most. No prior experience is needed, just an appreciation for good company, relaxed spaces, and taking time to create something by hand. Spaces are limited to keep the experience intimate and relaxed. If you are unable to attend the event, you may be eligible to receive store credit for the full value of your ticket, which can be used toward any future event or purchase with us.
