Newcity Breakout Artists / First Look Reception 2026

You are invited to be the first to see the 2026 Breakout Artists Exhibition in an intimate reception on Tuesday, April 7, from 5pm to 7pm at Chicago Artists Coalition at 1431 West Hubbard. Sparkling wine will be served. As you may know, the Breakout Artists list has a history of identifying some of America's most prominent artists very early in their careers. (You can see the list of past years here.) The price is $25 per person and is very limited in number. The public opening had more than 500 attendees last year, so we created a more intimate opportunity for you to see the work and meet some of the artists. Most of the work is for sale, too.
