Why do you want it? If you are looking to fit an FSA ACR or SMR stem or barstem to a bike fitted with the Token A-Box system or Token Speed Addict split spacers--and do not want to replace the headset cover, this item is designed with you in mind. These adapters / transition spacers are compatible for use with both with FSA split spacers or Token Speed Addict split spacers. You can mix or match them as long as you stay within the manufacturer's maximum spacer stack guidelines. What is it? This product is part of a family of stem adapters 3D printed using HP's Nylon 12 with 40% glass bead fill for compression strength and dimensional stability. This product has 5mm of stack. As mentioned before, you can use both Black Inc or Token spacers with this product. Please note that these are not included. This sale is for the adapter only and does not include any stems, headset covers, or other items pictured. How is it Made? These parts are printed in the USA on Commercial Grade HP Multi-Jet Fusion machines. Parts, like these, designed to hold preload are made using PA12GB. While this material costs over 2x more than traditional PA12 Nylon, the addition of the glass increases its strength under compression by 80% and in this application, eliminates creep. Given that SLS and MJF printed nylons are only 60%-70% of the density of the high-pressure injection-molded parts made by OEMs, this assures OEM level performance.
