Cecchi Viognier (Italy)
Summon the Tuscan sun to Manchester with a glass of Cecchi’s vivacious Viognier! Notes of mango, peach and delicate white flower alongside satisfying sapidity and acidity. The Caprifoglio (honeysuckle) flower is pictured on the front of the bottle, a Mediterranean wildflower that represents this wine’s refined charm as well as its floral and fruity character. The Cecchi family began making wine in 1893, when Luigi Cecchi founded his winery in Poggibonsi, Tuscany. Pair this with prawn linguine, or with the traditional Tuscan summer salad ‘panzanella’, which uses tomatoes, basil, bread, onions and cucumber. Vintages may vary.
