Welcome to Second Saturdays at Blackstone River Glass Center—our monthly open house where the doors are wide open and the creativity is flowing. Join us one Saturday each month from 10am–5pm for a relaxed, come-and-go experience designed for everyone—whether you’re a curious first-timer, a returning student, or just here for the vibes. 🔥 Live Glassblowing Demos – Watch molten glass transform right before your eyes ✂️ Hands-On Projects – Try your hand at a beginner-friendly glass activity (walk-ins welcome!) 🎤 Artist Talks + Studio Tours – Go behind the scenes and meet the makers 🎟️ Raffles + Specials – Because who doesn’t love a little bonus magic 🥂 Light Refreshments – Sip, snack, and stay awhile 🌿 Riverside Hangout Space – Yes, you can just relax and enjoy the view too Come As You Are No reservations needed to stop by and explore. Want to make something? You can sign up for a project when you arrive (subject to availability), or just watch the action and soak it all in. Bring a friend, bring your curiosity, and maybe bring that one person who “isn’t creative”—we’ll prove them wrong. Why We Do It Second Saturdays are all about community—creating a space where anyone can step inside, try something new, and feel like they belong.
