Object Nº7 — Oxblood Sigil

Built around symbols, ritual marks and the passage of time. Oxblood Sigil combines faded dark coffee leather, hand-painted red symbols and deep oxblood cabochon details in a piece shaped through layers of wear, friction and manual intervention. The surface was intentionally distressed by hand, allowing darker undertones, subtle tonal movement and irregular marks to emerge naturally through the leather, creating the feeling of an object altered slowly over years of use. Unlike the more symmetrical metal-driven pieces in this first chapter, Oxblood Sigil moves toward a more ceremonial and expressive language — where paint, texture and imperfection become part of the identity of the object itself. Each symbol was painted individually by hand over the original embroidered structure, making every surface transition slightly different.
