The Springfield Prodigy AOS system is a great optic-ready platform, but it has one major flaw. With the integrated Loaded Chamber Indicator sitting directly on top of the barrel, your optic is constantly exposed to carbon. Over time, that buildup can cloud your window and make cleaning a constant chore. The Calculated Kinetics DOGTAG Optic Plate solves that problem. Designed specifically for the Springfield Prodigy and any AOS footprint slide, this DOGTAG plate converts your slide to the ACRO footprint. The integrated design helps deflect gas and debris away from the optic window, reducing carbon buildup by up to 85% compared to standard factory plates. Unlike most optic plates, the DOGTAG incorporates a rear iron sight directly into the plate itself, allowing for a clean lower 1/3 co-witness with compatible optics. This gives you a durable, streamlined setup without sacrificing backup sight capability. Each kit comes complete with everything you need for installation: 7075 aluminum DOGTAG optic plate Black hard anodized finish Mounting Screws Torx bit Vibratite thread locker No extra hardware need! Manufactured with pride in Chandler, Arizona. Important note for Military Armament Corporation MAC 9 DS users: Calculated Kinetics tested this plate on a MAC 9 DS Comp using a Tisas 1911 3-dot front sight set and observed approximately 6 inches high point of impact at intended point of aim. CK is currently developing a dedicated version that will include a properly matched front sight and will be offered as a complete package. If you're running a Springfield Prodigy and want to mount an ACRO while keeping your glass cleaner and maintaining a proper co-witness, the DOGTAG plate is the upgrade your setup needs.
