Permanent Red heavy texture is a clean, mid-tone color with strong cool blue undertones. It is rich and strong tinting power makes it highly versatile. When lifted with a palette knife, it stands tall like a velvet rose. In the shadows, it cools to a lustrous lipstick red. Formulated with Naphthol Red AS (PR170). Dries to a satin finish with full opacity and a cool color temperature. Professional grade, 100% acrylic emulsion, water-based formula. Conforms to ASTM D 4236. It offers excellent lightfastness and a crack-resistant, flexible cure. Tint it with standard Gaffrey Acrylic Colors for endless mixing options. Heavy Texture holds its thickness and shape, making it great for impasto and sculptural painting techniques. Use piping bags, painting knives, or brushes for full control over your art.
