COAL MINE JACKET - INDIGO

This short jacket is designed with the image of a jacket worn by coal miners in the early 1900s as its inspiration. It is made from classic 11.5oz selvedge denim with nep yarn woven into the weft. The jacket has been treated to give it the look and feel of being worn for about six months. The front has a simple design with one pocket on the left. Tucks have been added not only to the back but also to the front to create an overall rounded silhouette. The neckline is lower in the front, inspired by the jackets of that era, and has a small collar and tuck buttons. Made in Japan.
