Thrilled to release another of our 2025 Kenyan coffee’s, in Kamwangi. The Kamwangi Coffee Factory is owned and operated by the New Ngariama Farmers Cooperative Society in the Ngariama region within Kirinyaga, who are famed for running our favourite factory; Kainamui Coffee Factory which has been operating for over 50 years. This is their second sorting and processing ‘factory’ and the coffee coming out of here is equally as special! Roughly 985 active members contribute exceptional quality coffee to Kamwangi; each farmer owning around 200 coffee trees, producing about 1kg each annually. Kamwangi then wash (and ferment), dry, grade, and sort the coffee ready for sale and export. The best of which is fermented a second time to get the very best out of it. Kenyan coffees tend to get better with age, so we can’t wait to crack open these bags and share the last of our 2025 vintage with you! Especially this classic, with flashes of currant, cola, and burnt sugar with a jammy grape finish.
