At La Bien Aimée, we hand-dye each skein, blending art and science, and sometimes, magical things happen in the dye pots. One of a Kinds are skeins that turned out a little differently than planned—maybe the shade is slightly darker, lighter, cooler, or warmer, or the speckles are more subtle or intense. These skeins are not defective; they’re simply one-of-a-kind treasures that can’t be replicated. (Defective skeins are used in our Confetti yarn recycling project.) Perfect for making your next project truly special, One of a Kinds are limited edition, unrepeatable, and completely unique. Plus, each skein you knit with supports our mission to reduce waste and embrace the art of hand-dyeing.
