Lampworking Taster

These sessions are designed to give you a little taster into the technique of lampwork glass bead making. Within the session you will be taught the tools and materials you use to make the beads, health and safety that must be considered and shown the process through a detailed demonstration. You will be shown how to hold and move the mandrel, how to heat the glass, how to build you bead and how to simply decorate it. We have purposely kept the sessions small to two people and short at 1.5hrs so both students can continually make. It’s going to be intense but SO MUCH FUN! Materials included in workshop fee.
