The 24" King Gong delivers everything that has made the classic 32" a favorite - the sweeping, "windy" wash of a traditional Chinese wind gong, enriched by Grotta Sonora's signature harmonic tuning at the center - in a size that's easier to travel with, hang in smaller spaces, or integrate into a layered sound setup. With its flat profile and tapered edge, this gong responds quickly and opens into a shimmering cascade of overtones. The harmonically tuned center adds depth and balance to the sound, giving it a richness that goes well beyond its size. As with every Grotta Sonora instrument, each 24" King Gong is meticulously handmade, meaning no two are exactly alike. While we do our best to capture an accurate representation of this note, the actual tone can vary based on volume and overtones.
