Intro to Lace Knitting :: June 10
Lace is one of the most versatile stitches in knitting. A combination of yarn overs and decreases creates geometric, flower, and leaf motifs to other types of openwork patterns. Lace is often used in shawls, but it is found in all knitted garments. In this beginner‑friendly class, you’ll learn how to read lace charts, work yarn overs and decreases with confidence, and keep your fabric flowing and balanced. We will do this by starting a lace scarf. Date/Time: Wednesday June 10, 10:30am-12:30pm Instructor: Reah Janise Kauffman Materials: LIGHT COLORED fingering or sport weight yarn.
