Cordyline Willy's Gold is grown for its broad tropical foliage and strong colour contrast. This cultivar brings bright yellow-green striping through the leaves, with warm pink to red tones through the stems and undersides that add structure indoors or in sheltered outdoor positions.It suits bright, filtered light and steady warmth, with best colour and growth when the potting mix is kept lightly moist but not waterlogged. Position Bright indirect light or a warm sheltered spot with filtered sun. Avoid harsh afternoon sun indoors or sudden exposure to full sun. Temperature Prefers warm conditions and should be protected from cold. Best kept above 15°C. Water Water when the top layer of the mix starts to dry. Keep lightly moist in active growth, but do not let the pot sit wet for long periods. Fertiliser Feed during spring and summer with a diluted liquid fertiliser for foliage plants. Repotting Repot when rootbound or when the mix has broken down, stepping up only one pot size at a time into a free-draining mix.
