STAY & PLAY WITH (POLKA) The moment you place it on the washstand, the room changes a little. This is a free-blown glass by POLKA, a handmade glass studio in Agatsuma District, Gunma Prefecture. It's a vessel for rinsing, sitting quietly on the washstand. But you can pour anything into it. The glass, formed by blowing without a mold, changes its expression with every ray of light it catches. It's transparent, yet somehow appears soft. That's the unique atmosphere of POLKA's glass. It's just the right size to fit in one hand, sparkling in the morning light. What was meant for rinsing somehow became a favorite. No two are alike. Each expansion is a testament to its breath.
