Bierzo Pago de Valdoneje, Valtuille

Made from 100% Mencía grapes sourced from old vines in the Bierzo region. The grapes are hand-harvested and fermented in stainless steel tanks at controlled temperatures. The wine is aged for several months in French oak barrels to enhance complexity while preserving the purity of the fruit allowing the true expression of old-vine Mencia and its terroir to shine through. Blackberries and wild berries dominant the nose with a typical touch of earthiness. Similar characters also run through the palate, firmly structured with depth and balance.
