Spinnaker Piccard Automatic Popeye Forearm Fury Limited Edition
The Spinnaker Piccard Automatic Popeye Forearm Fury Limited Edition is exactly as loud as it sounds — and earns it. The Piccard is Spinnaker's most extreme platform: 45mm across, 21mm thick, 250 grams on the bracelet, 550 meters of water resistance, and a super-domed sapphire crystal inspired by the bubble-lens portholes of early deep-sea exploration instruments. Put Popeye on it — the sailor who's been punching above his weight since 1929 — and the combination works because both parties are unambiguously themselves. Three colorways, each with a different Popeye dial graphic and matching ceramic bezel, all limited in production. "I YAM WHAT I YAM" is inscribed on the bezel at from the 60 to 20-minute marker. The 45mm marine-grade stainless steel case is built to specification for serious diving — helium escape valve at 10 o'clock, unidirectional ceramic bezel, screw-down crown, and a solid caseback engraved with Popeye's iconic face. The super-domed sapphire crystal rises dramatically above the bezel, defines the silhouette, and contributes directly to the 550-meter pressure rating. Swiss Super-LumiNova covers the hands and indices throughout. The movement is the Seiko TMI NH35 — a 24-jewel automatic running at 21,600 bph with hacking seconds and a 41-hour power reserve. No date, keeping the dial clean for the Popeye artwork. Reliable, serviceable, and correctly specified for a watch built to this level of dive specification. Limited production across all three colorways with each watch shipping in a special collaboration presentation box.
