Bourgogne Rosé ‘Rosalie’

Rosalie is our first ever Burgundy rosé, and it is exactly the sort of bottle that made us want to list one. Made from 100% Gamay grown in Volnay, this is not a thin, forgettable summer pink. It is bright, crunchy and brilliantly fresh, but with a little extra texture from ageing on Pinot Noir lees from Volnay Premier Cru. Think red berries, cool fruit, a savoury Burgundian line and just enough flesh to make it genuilely useful at the table. This is rosé with a brain. Chill it, pour it, and treat it like a proper bottle of Burgundy that happens to have blushed.
