John Julian X Makoto Kagoshima - Special Edition 10 Year Anniversary Plate

A very limited, Collectors Edition of anniversary plates to celebrate 10 years of collaboration with acclaimed Japanese artist Makoto Kagoshima. Hand lined and stamped on porcelain in a choice of Forest Green and Burgundy. Only 20 are available in any size/colourway. Ten years ago, a creative conversation began between two artists who shared a deep appreciation for craft, and storytelling through objects. Today, we’re delighted to celebrate a decade of the Makoto Kagoshima X John Julian collaboration. Over the past ten years, each collection has captured the spirit of the collaboration: traditional craftsmanship meeting contemporary design, Japanese artistry meeting British making. Hand stamped at our workshop with an image designed by Makoto Kagoshima especially for this anniversary. These pieces come in a presentation box with a special anniversary backstamp.
