Introduced summer of 2025, SORREL returns for Chapter Two in a brand new colourway – a fresh cornflower blue. This is not a fabric you'll find anywhere else. The cotton was reated in collaboration with skilled artisan weavers in India, made on traditional looms in small quantities and the design is entirely unique to Cub & Pudding. Look closely and you'll notice the occasional irregularity in the weave: a slightly uneven thread, a gentle variation in the check. These aren't flaws. They're the fingerprints of the person who made it, and they're exactly what makes this dress worth owning. Each SORREL sleeve carries a small hand-embroidered flower motif – stitched individually by hand, which means yours will be ever so slightly its own. How to wear SORREL, all year round: Spring & Summer – Worn alone with flat sandals or white trainers and a simple canvas tote. The cornflower blue needs nothing else. Autumn – Layer a fine roll-neck underneath in a toning blue or warm amber – as shown – and add ankle boots for an easy transition into cooler days. The puffed sleeves sit beautifully over a fitted long-sleeve. Winter – SORREL layers brilliantly. A chunky ribbed jumper underneath, thick tights and knee-high boots, and this dress becomes a completely different outfit. The check holds its own against the heaviest of coats.
