L’Usine Bleue Maquignon Linen Shirt
L’Usine Bleue Maquignon Linen Shirt “I remember visiting the cattle markets in the village square with my grandfather. The merchants shouting, the cows and bulls everywhere. It felt alive and a little dangerous. A real spectacle, where anything could happen. And sometimes did.” – Vincent Maquignon is French for horse/cattle dealer and a word sometimes used for a slightly slippery, but charming merchant. This shirt is inspired by the workwear of early 20th-century Maquignons and is as wide and light as a their business ethics. The L’Usine Bleue Maquignon is made from a 200 gram, 100% linen fabric and combines rugged elegance, breathability and durability. It features two extra large chest pockets, a signature detail of the period’s work shirts – and perfect for keeping real and fake contracts apart. Our beautiful Maquignon is constructed and sewn in our family-run partner workshop in Portugal and finished with a signature black corozo button. 100% linen, 200 g 7 front buttons 2 × 2 cuff buttons 2 large chest pockets Black corozo buttons Made in Portugal Master of Flax Fibre OEKO-TEX® Standard 100
